Actress Sydney Park has been on The Walking Dead since Season 8, where she plays the part of Cyndie. Over time her role on the show has taken a turn toward being more important.
One of the women from Oceanside, Cyndie has been a background character but has now stepped out of the shadows. She also helped serve as someone who has awakened Maggie from her path behind Rick.
During the October 21 episode of the show, it was revealed that Beatrice had killed Justin. Beatrice, Cyndie, and several other women from Oceanside were tracking down Saviors. Maggie and Daryl declined when given the opportunity of stopping Cyndie from killing Arat.

Actress Sydney Park has appeared on shows like CSI: New York, Instant Mom, and Lifeline. She has also been announced as Caitlin Martell-Lewis, a character on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, which will premiere in 2019.

Long before her time on The Walking Dead, Park was appearing as a six-year-old on the stage of the Hollywood Improv. Her role of Cyndie is a long way from her time as a comedian, especially with how dark her character became on the October 21 episode.
With a starring role on an upcoming television show that is expected to be a hit, it is unclear how much longer that Sydney Park is going to be Cyndie on The Walking Dead. It’s possible that this becomes one of the characters that disappears into the background, especially after finishing off a number of Saviors and planning to go their own way.
The preview for the October 28 episode of The Walking Dead doesn’t include the women from Oceanside. Has their story arc come to an end? Or could they return later, even stronger than when they took up arms alongside Rick and against the Saviors?
