Two castaways were voted out on Survivor tonight, with the new episode providing quite a bit of drama. Even though it was only one hour in length, the episode covered a lot of ground on Wednesday night.
Last week, two people were also eliminated, but CBS aired two episodes to lead to that result. The results were pretty shocking, even though they were a bit obscured by all of the drama that took place during the two hours.
Kellee Kim and Jamal Shipman were the two people who got sent to the Island of the Idols jury during Episode 8 and Episode 9. Kellee was blindsided and left without using an Idol to save herself.
Then, Jamal followed her out at the very next Tribal Council, ending the game of someone who had worked hard to compete.

Who got voted out on Survivor tonight? Two new jury members
CBS and the show worked hard to promote the narrative that two people were going to be eliminated from the game by the end of the night. This made it unsurprising that the jury increased by two members, but to get to that point, they had to go through a lot of drama.
The way that the Individual Immunity Challenge worked made it possible to have two separate Tribal Councils. With the tribe split in half, it resulted in two people getting eliminated. The castaways who had safety were Noura Salman and Elizabeth Beisel.
Then, at the two Tribal Councils, the two people who got voted out on Survivor may have come as a surprise to a lot of viewers. As for the end result, it was Aaron Meredith and Missy Byrd who got sent to the jury. The results were actually pretty shocking.
There are now five members of the Survivor: Island of the Idols jury. When the show returns next week, just nine people will be left competing for the $1 million prize.
