“ISA” encompasses the genres of science-fiction, psychological thriller and drama, and is set in a vibrant and contemporary Los Angeles that is seldom depicted. This is the first original movie from Fluency Productions, a division of NBC Universal Hispanic Media and Content. The movie will air several NBCUniversal television properties in the month of June including:
Syfy – Wednesday, June 11 @ 11:30pm on Syfy

“ISA” tells the story of a strong Latina protagonist, Isa Reyes (Jeanette Samano), an 18 year-old Mexican-American whiz kid who uncovers that she was smuggled into the U.S. as a child, having been rescued from a criminal enterprise that literally steals the dreams of children in order to make billions on Wall Street.
Isa’s friends, Nataly Gomez (Sabi) and Jaime Diaz (Eric Ochoa) come to her aid after she is kidnapped by the company that wants to exploit her powerful dreams.
ISA will also be available via mobile, digital and VOD platforms, across TVE platform for Syfy, Telemundo and mun2, and for purchase on iTunes, Amazon plus Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, XBOX Video, Playstation Store, Vudu, MGO, Verizon FlexView and InDemand.
Written and directed by Cuban-born Jose Nestor Marquez, ISA is his feature film directorial debut. The film features a unique mix of television and social media stars including newcomer Jeanette Samano, urban pop singer Sabi, YouTube stars Tim Delaghetto, Eric Ochoa, and Primetime/Novela stars Khotan Fernandez and Ana Layevska.
