Trick Daddy sees his wife Joy for the first time in four years on this week’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami — and she comes looking for closure.
The pair have been estranged for nearly half a decade but are still married. But that doesn’t sit well with Joy any more. Tonight she turns up as Trick and Trina — Joy’s cousin — make a paid appearance at a club.
Trick spots Joy among the crowd but doesn’t know what to make of it. He says: “Me and Joy been separated for a long time. A lot of things did change — I gained weight, lost weight, damn near lost my mind.
“And all the things she said I couldn’t do, I couldn’t give her? She ain’t found them yet. We gonna bow our heads and pray for her. ”
Joy admits that it hurts standing so close but “basically ignoring” each other. But she says it further reinforces why she needs to end their relationship “for good” if she’s ever going to be able to move forward in her life.
This week’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami also sees Pleasure P and Shay attempting to fix their relationship, while Gunplay has a reconnection with an old flame, and Veronica Vega and Steph Lecor track down Young Hollywood to apologize to Amara.
