The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds’ biggest fear is needles — and that’s not good news if you’re trying for a baby through IVF.

In tonight’s episode, Jimmy is away for spring training so Meghan has to build up the courage to inject herself in the stomach with the first of her IVF shots all by herself.

To keep Jimmy in the loop, she makes a video diary of herself going through the ordeal, as she attempts to prick herself with the needle just below her belly button.

Watch in the preview video below as Meghan takes 11 minutes to finally pluck up the guts to go through with it.

She says: “I’m literally facing my biggest fear in life, which is needles — and Jimmy isn’t with me, again. I’m soooo scared. I keep trying to tell myself, ‘baby, baby, baby, baby, baby’.”

After finally managing to get it over and done with she can’t help but start crying, saying: “Oh my God, I did it! I feel so proud of myself.”

Meanwhile, Tamra Judge also spends some time with her trainer Mia — who she reveals has more to offer than just fitness advice, describing her as her “therapist”, “spiritual guidance” and “kind of like my priest”.

Tamra says: “Ever since my baptism I just prayed, and I said like ‘Jesus please, bring me people in my life that are good Christians that I can learn from. And Mia just, literally, was there the next week. God sent Mia to me.”

Also tonight, Briana is moving back home with Vicki, but it’s not all roses, Heather is trying to deal with the problems around how much her children get to see their dad, Kelly hosts a beach party, and Vicki and Tamra finally get things out in the open.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 3 is on tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.
