The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania sheds tears of heartbreak after the death of dog Boo in the emotional footage below.
Boo had to be put down after suffering kidney failure, and Dolores took his passing extremely hard after coming to rely on him for company.
In emotional scenes from tonight’s episode Dolores tells Siggy Flicker, who visited her following Boo’s death: “There were so many nights he was the only one I had. That was it. And I’m sick over it.”
Dolores also reveals how her children Gabrielle and Frankie took Boo to the vet as she would have found it too difficult. She says: “I couldn’t do it.”
Dolores added: “Gabby and Frankie took it hard. We all took it hard. But I took it the worst. I couldn’t sleep without Boo.”
And she reveals her tears on camera are one of the first times in her life that she’s let her guard down. She says: My kids have never seen me cry. Some women cry easily, but I never showed anybody that side of me. My brothers and sisters have never seen me cry. Never.”
Siggy comforts her, saying: “You have to feel good in your heart that Boo had a life of love.”
Also on tonight’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe Gorga shows his own emotional side when he takes his daughter to the Daddy & Daughter dance.
Melissa spends time helping Antonia do her hair ahead of the event, and Joe is wowed when she appears.
The pair pose for photos together before they leave the house, and Joe admits: “This is a beautiful moment. This is what family’s about. Watching my kids, taking pictures. Makes me smile. Makes me happy. This is what I live for.”
