The Survivor: Island of the Idols jury has already started forming. That announcement from host Jeff Probst was a bit surprising to some viewers, as just six people were sent home from the 20-person cast.

During the last episode of the show, Jack Nichting was eliminated at Tribal Council. It took a really bold move by Kellee Kim and the vote of Dean Kowalski to make it happen, but another blindside happened.

At Tribal Council, it was revealed that Jack would be part of the Survivor Season 39 jury, where he will eventually get to place a vote on who wins the $1 million prize for this summer.

The early formation of the jury seems to indicate that they are going to have a huge Island of the Idols jury. Giving 11 people the opportunity to vote on the Survivor 39 winner seems like a lot to some fans, who have posted on social media regarding how shocked they were about this revelation.

Who made it to Survivor: Island of the Idols merge?

The new episode of Survivor 39 is called We Made It to the Merge! and it airs on Wednesday night. Guess what happens? The two tribes are going to be combined to form one final tribe and individual immunity will be on the line.

Below is the list of 13 castaways who made it all the way to the Survivor 39 merge. We also posted their ages.

Lauren Beck (28)
Elizabeth Beisel (26)
Missy Byrd (24)
Janet Carbin (59)
Keelee Kim (29)
Dean Kowalski (28)
Aaron Meredith (36)
Karishma Patel (37)
Noura Salman (36)
Tommy Sheehan (26)
Jamal Shipman (33)
Dan Spilo (48)

It going to be interesting to see the new dynamics of the show with all 13 people in one camp. Will alliances from their former tribes hold up? Is there someone that could be easily targeted at the first combined Tribal Council?

Make sure to tune in on Wednesday night, as the big merge will take place, followed by the merge feast, and then the first overall Individual Immunity Challenge of Survivor: Island of the Idols.

Survivor airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
