Stephanie Sersen and AJ Voelmiller tied the knot on Season 8 of Married at First Sight. Stephanie was more than ready to get married and that was never more clear than at the bachelorette party. AJ comes off a little bit goofy and that might not go over well but maybe it’s just nerves.
During the wedding, Stephanie and AJ both seemed to enjoy a little bit of unscripted banter and both were definitely very nervous. During the kiss, they really went for it though, with “passion and emotion” as AJ pointed out.
The families cheered at the introduction of Stephanie and AJ as husband and wife and both sides seem very supportive. Stephanie seems relieved to have finally made it to the altar and AJ is “ecstatic.” It looks like, at least for now, they just might be a good match but will they be able to keep it going?
So far, things are looking good for Stephanie and AJ as far as their relationship goes but in the MAFS sneak peeks, it looks like they’ll be hitting a big snag soon and it’ll change the way Stephanie sees her new husband.
Will they be able to get over that hurdle so that Stephanie can have her happily ever after? Both she and AJ’s parents have been married for decades and they both want the same thing. We’ll have to tune in and see if they’re really willing to fight for it.
