The Shorty Awards is back and will take place on May 4, 2019. The nominees have just been revealed and fans of influencers are getting ready to cast their votes. But hurry — voting closes on February 21, 2019.

The Best In Literature Award has a few familiar faces on the nominees list, including Tahereh Mafi, Jason Reynolds, Mark Manson, Jensen Karp, Jenny Han, Lauren Oliver, Michelle Obama, Angie Thomas, Celeste Ng, Rupi Kaur, James S. Murray, and Tomi Adeyemi.
Some of the more popular categories include Emoji of the Year, GIF of the Year, Instagram of the Year, and Meme of the Year.
Not surprisingly, one of the nominated GIFs is the Slide into his DM’s Girl GIF with Tyra Banks. Sashay Away from RuPaul’s Drag Race also made the list. Cardi B’s OKURRRRR can also be found on the Best GIF of the Year list.
