Shamari Devoe and her husband Ronnie decided to open up about some issues that have surfaced on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In an interview with Domenick Nati, Shamari and Ronnie were asked about several of the hottest topics and rumors that have followed them since Shamari’s RHOA debut.

Domenick brings up a Radar Online report that claims that Ronnie owes $366,000 in taxes. When asked if the allegations are true, he said, “Theere is some truth to everything in life. I think we’ve all…you know…at some point or another had tax challenges and owed Uncle Sam or doctored up some documents to be able to get some type of tax return.”

Ronnie further explained that the tax debt is real and that the Devoes are working on paying it off. Ronnie told Nati that the “IRS knows me and I know them.”

Viewers may be scratching their heads, wondering how the couple is spending $1,000 on birthday cakes for their twins when he is on a payment plan to pay back the IRS over tax issues.

They also talked about their former open marriage, something that Shamari admitted to on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. When asked about the current situation, they both laughed it off, saying that they were now committed to one another.

The open marriage was something they had seven years ago, something they had agreed to do while remaining committed to each other. As Shamari revealed on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was simply bi-curious and wanted to explore sexual relations with other women without resorting to cheating.

During the interview, Nati also asked Shamari whether she’d bring back Kenya Moore or Phaedra Parks. Laughing, Shamari reveals she would bring back Kenya to the show because she had only met her once. However, she says that “Kenya would be a challenge” for her but she enjoys a personal challenge. The two met about a month ago, and she’d like to get to know her.

Shamari also addresses her group Blaque and their popularity, another source of internet drama recently. Make sure to check out the interview above to hear which popular girl groups she thinks that hers in on par with. It might surprise you!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
