RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular is a one-hour holiday special that will bring back some familiar faces to battle it out for the title of Drag Race Xmas queen. Eight queens are coming back from previous seasons to compete for the title and unlike a full season, everything will go down in a single hour.
Variety reports that Eureka O’Hara, Jasmine Masters, Kim Chi, Latrice Royale, Mayhem Miller, Shangela, Sonique, and Trixie Mattel are the eight queens coming back to compete for the title of Drag Race Xmas Queen.
The drama between the queens is already at a high in the preview released on the official drag race Instagram account, with Eureka telling everyone that in order to win, you’d have to be jolly like Santa.
Jasmine Masters and Latrice Royale are both returning to RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 4, which stars next Friday, December 14 at 8/7c on VH1.
This episode is the first Christmas special, where contestants are competing for the coveted title.
The contestants will lip-sync to RuPaul’s holiday albums, including his newest single, Christmas Party. The judges will return to judge the contestants, and Todrick Hall will also return as he helps with the choreography for the performances.
In the preview below, you can see the first three minutes of the special, including the very decorative workroom, where the contestants work on their creations.
This special is clearly meant to get you in the Christmas special but also meant to get you excited for the new All-Stars season starting next week. This is a single episode special, so don’t miss it!
