Thanksgiving will be time to get your Vikings fix on! The series is back November 30 and there’s a TON of action promised as Ragnar and his sons continue their saga.
So far, this is what we know:
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) is still in Kattegat nursing his wounds following his defeat at the hands of brother Rollo (Clive Standen) during the epic battle for Paris.
Ragnar’s reappearance in Kattegat is the catalyst for lots of changes, as his sons cause all kinds of problems…namely Ivar the Boneless who should have been left in the woods.
Ragnar has “unfinished business” back in olde Wessex with soaky bath aficionado and Lothario King Ecbert (Linus Roache).
The Queen better watch her Aslaug:
Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is all about the power play in Kattegat, seeking advantage as Ragnar figures things out.
In the newly released photos, it looks like Lagertha has a posse of women who are on her side…
Mediterranean sea? Why not:
Tall, single and ready to mingle Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) is heading to warmer waters in the Mediterranean via a sleek new ship crafted by his loco “uncle” Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård); who just may be the new Seer if the old one kicks the bucket.
Floki’s got a new hairdo!
Creator and writer Michael Hirst says: “This season is monumental and unlike anything we’ve ever done.”
“We’ve propelled ‘Vikings’ to the topmost level of historical drama as we follow storylines inspired by real life events such as Bjorn Ironside sailing through the Mediterranean and Ivar the Boneless becoming the most feared warrior of all time.”
“It’s not a story of one man, but a saga of Ragnar and his sons.”
Season five of “Vikings” is currently in production in Ireland as Jonathan Rhys Myers (The Tudors) joins the cast.
The second part of Season 4 of Vikings premieres on Wednesday, Nov 30 at 9/8c on History.
