How Far Is Tattoo Far? returned this week and proved that there are worse tattoos than a dirty hamster or a smelly trash can. After each reveal, it seems that no one is more shocked by the tattoos that they see than host Nico Tortorella, someone that viewers definitely want to more about.
Nico joined Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi to host the new MTV tattoo series and the two bonded quickly. Together, they make the perfect hosting team for the breakout series How Far Is Tattoo Far?
This isn’t Nico Tortorella’s first gig though and many should recognize them from playing the role of Josh on Younger, a comedy that aired on the Paramount network. Nico also played notorious parent-killer Lyle Menendez in the TV movie Menendez: Blood Brothers.
They have played a handful of other small roles in movies like Scream 4, Trespass and Odd Thomas. However, Nico really got his start in the theater when he was only a seventh grader. Then, in 2007, Nico stopped by a casting call for Ford Models and the agency signed them. The Chicago native has been busy acting ever since.
The How Far Is Tatto Far? host is 30 years old, having celebrated the milestone birthday on July 30. Nico Tortorella has already come out as both sexually fluid and bisexual, clearing up the many questions about their sexuality. They prefer to use they/them pronouns.
Nico Tortorella is married to Bethany Myers and while they have talked about having kids someday, nothing about their marriage or relationship is conventional. The pair considers themselves queer and polyamorous, something they celebrated at their wedding back in March.
It’s not clear if Nico and his wife are living together yet but back in May, Nico revealed to People that while the two are very close, they weren’t even living together yet.
“People will be so quick to be like, ‘This is how long we’ve been married. This is what works and what doesn’t,’ ” Nico explained to People. “As much as we love hearing your stories, we’re on our own path here. But it’s sweet.”
Further proving that their marriage is not mainstream, it was revealed that Bethany is the one who proposed to Nico. Clearly, they said yes.
