A Married at First Sight spinoff is coming to give fan favorites a second chance

A new Married at First Sight spinoff is coming to give those with failed marriages from the original MAFS another chance to find love on television. It was announced that Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island is just one of two new spinoffs slated for fall on Lifetime.

The premise of the show is that 20 singles, namely fan favorites from prior seasons of MAFS plus those who weren’t chosen to get married, will all head to an island for a chance to find love among the other singles on the show.

At the end of the season, which will also serve as the end of the singles’ stay on the island, they will have to decide if they want to move forward and get married to their match.

Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island will be eight episodes long in the first season. Like other MAFS shows, this series will be produced by Kinetic Content with Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Cat Rodriguez and Ally Simpson on board as executive producers. Gina McCarthy from Lifetime will also serve as an EP on the series.

The newest Married at First Sight spinoff is set to premiere in the fall of 2018. We’ll be sure to share the exact release date as soon as it is announced.
