Leah Messer has been the primary caregiver for Adalynn for years as Jeremy Calvert often worked so far away that he would only come home once in a while. This distance, however, never changed anything between Jeremy and Adalynn, who continue to have an amazing bond as father and daughter.
This week, Jeremy posted an adorable video of Adalynn at his house, as they were getting the Christmas decorations ready for his home. As it turns out, they may have splurged on a big dancing Santa.
“Yeah, we had to have this,” Jeremy captioned in the video of Adalynn dancing with the Santa figure.
In the Instagram caption, he wrote, “We both had to have this, the kid came out in ol dad today.”
The dancing Santa looks adorable as Adalynn dances next to him. This appears to be right up her alley in terms of entertainment, so it’s awesome that Jeremy agreed to get it.
Leah Messer hasn’t publicly commented on the dancing Santa, but one can imagine she’d be happy with anything that gives her daughter joy. For months, fans wondered whether they were back together, but the couple has yet to give a clear answer. It seems that they are simply enjoying their time together.
Regardless of their situation, Leah and Jeremy aren’t living together. It’s possible that they will reconcile and give their relationship a second chance after their public divorce.
Jeremy has apologized for everything he did to push the divorce and they have admitted to hooking up in the time since. Even Adalynn has expressed a desire to see her parents back together. It will be interesting to see what the future brings for these two – and if the dancing Santa gets to stay.
