If you’ve been watching The Goldbergs, you may have noticed that Adam’s girlfriend, Jackie Geary, looks a little different.

The role was originally played by Rowan Blanchard, but 20-year-old Alexis G. Zall has now taken over. Going forward, Alexis will play the role Jackie after she returns home from spending her summer at New York University, where she appears to have changed quite a bit.

But who is Zall, who has taken over the role?

IMDb lists 38 acting credits for her going back six years. Alexis G. Zall is best known for her roles in Ouija: Origin of Evil from 2016, Zac and Mia from 2017, DC Super Hero Girls — an animated show that ran from 2015 to 2018 — and the movie Born to Die from 2014. She’s also appeared on plenty of television shows including Rad Lands, Embeds, and even her own show from 2016 called Zall Good.

Zall started out as a competitive gymnast at the age of two but had to put the dream on hold after years of work due to an injury. It was during a school play that Alexis found her new passion — acting.

Alexis worked with Adaptive Studios & Principato-Young Entertainment, getting experience as co-executive producing. She also worked on the AT&T Fullscreen series, Guilty Party, where she played Tess.

Despite only being 20 years old, Zall earned a Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy nomination for her role as Bec in the also Emmy nominated Go90 series Zac and Mia.

Unlike many celebrities, Alexis G. Zall likes to use social media. She has a huge following and she has a unique voice that she uses on her own podcast, Zall Good with Alexis G. Zall.

The podcast is interview-based, where Zall talks to entertainers, comedians, social media influencers and their parents to get the real story behind the public persona. She also has a YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers.

The Goldbergs airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
