Watch the sneak peek for this week’s episode of The Curse of Oak Island below — as Jack Begley reveals he is confident the team are going to find something in the Money Pit.

In the clip the team are continuing the operation they started on last week’s episode of drilling down with a 50in caisson into the “H-8” exploratory borehole, which it’s thought lies in the exact location of the legendary shaft.

Jack, who paid an emotional tribute to his late brother Drake Tester on last week’s episode, says: “My anxiety’s a little high…because I know we’re going to find something!”

The sneak peek also reveals that during an archaeological dig on the island the team discover what is thought to be the oldest piece of pottery they have ever found on the island.

Meanwhile, Rick and Alex Lagina and Peter Fornetti travel to France, where a connection is found to Oak Island’s famous “HO” stone.

They also investigate carvings made in a prison in Domme, France, by members of the Knights Templar while they were there awaiting trial in 1307.
