General Hospital spoilers for the Wednesday, August 1, 2018 episode of ABC’s soap promise a day full of epic remorse and guilt, plus some tender reaching out, as Port Charles deals with the aftermath of a botched entrapment plan.
Hunky detective Chase (Josh Swickard) is feeling the pain of his plan to entrap Nelle having gone wrong. Way wrong. Will Jorden (Vinessa Antoine) fire him?
On the other side of town, the repercussions of Carly’s (Laura Wright) latest entanglement at Ferncliff, and most recent family disaster must be dealt with. On the one hand, Carly has serious doubts about her messy situation while on the other hand her hubby Sonny (Maurice Benard) feels guilty about what has transpired; none of this was supposed to have happened!
Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is front and center. She will reach out and try to help, but are her efforts appreciated or rebuffed?
