Fresh Bellies will step into the tank during Sunday’s episode of Shark Tank with the hopes of walking away with a deal. Fresh Bellies is a company that creates delicious and nutritious foods for picky eaters.

The approach is simple — don’t hide the veggies. By masking vegetables with sweet fruits, bad eating habits are taught. Instead, Fresh Bellies want to put vegetables at the forefront, encouraging kids to try vegetables with plenty of seasonings and flavors.

Herbs and spices are the keys behind Fresh Bellies. In fact, the website reveals that each recipe is created by a chef to teach babies to eat all kinds of foods with the goal of making them less picky later in life.

The founder is Saskia Sorrosa, an award-winning marketer and food entrepreneur.

She blogs about all kinds of things on her Medium page, and she calls herself a sports fan. Based on her Medium profile picture, it appears that she has children herself and may have created the product to overcome her own picky eaters.

The food for Fresh Bellies is cooked in a kitchen using chef’s recipes. The company reveals that they don’t use sugar or salt to get flavor, but season their food with herbs and spices.

You can buy Fresh Bellies products on the company’s website, where you can find snacks in bags and cups for your little one. You can also mix and match flavor combinations.

You may also be able to find the products at Harris Teeter, as Fresh Bellies just announced the news on January 7, 2019, that they have five different flavors in stores.

Other retailers include Berkeley Bowl Marketplace, Earth Fare, Fresh Thyme, Sendik’s, Whole Foods, and on Amazon.

Shark Tank airs this Sunday at 8/7c for a double-episode night on ABC.
