Just a few weeks back, we watched Dave Flaherty marry Amber Martorana on Married at First Sight. As Season 7 of MAFS progresses, we’ve learned a lot about the couples as they continue getting to know each other. So who is Dave and what is he all about?
Dave is a 37-year old portfolio manager from Dallas, Texas. He is tall, athletic and traditionally handsome, leaving Married at First Sight viewers wondering what might be lurking under the surface.
In his MAFS bio, it was revealed that Dave Flaherty is originally from California and received a degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
He has since been very successful as a portfolio manager for Pertius Asset Management, LLC. He joined the company in 2004 and worked his way up to partner.
Dave has been incredibly successful in business but that just never translated over to his love life. At 37 years old and still single, he decided to join the Married at First Sight casting call in Dallas and was one of three lucky men who were paired with three Dallas women in the wildest social experiment on television.
Will Amber and Dave make it?
At first glance, Amber and Dave look like the perfect couple. Both are attractive, fit and successful in business but will they be successful in love too?
Right out the gate, Amber and Dave hit a major snag. It was revealed that the pair have a lot in common, possibly too much!
The new Married at First Sight couple live very close to each other and even go to the same gym. That’s not the part that might affect their marriage though.
It turns out that Amber dated another man that went to the gym they share. The big shocker is that Amber’s ex-boyfriend is someone that Dave Flaherty knows and he’s even heard stories about the other guy’s relationship with Amber.
Talk about awkward when they return to the gym! Maybe it’s time for the MAFS couple to find a new place to work out.
In the latest Married at First Sight sneak peeks, it has been teased that Amber and Dave may face even more adversity. When it comes to religion, the pair definitely aren’t on the same page. Will Amber’s feelings about religious people cause a rift in the new relationship?
