Colton Underwood got to hang out on a group date on The Bachelor, where he got to work out with the ladies. Needless to say, his NFL career came into focus once again, making viewers question whether he still has a chance in the league.

More importantly, if he isn’t playing football now, what is he doing for a living? As it turns out, Colton’s time in the NFL was short. He was only active for two years and in 2014 and 2015, Colton played for three teams.

He was first signed to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014, where he reportedly earned a salary of $6,300. That same year, he was signed to the Charges, where he reportedly got a signing bonus of $3,000 and a salary of $88,200.

In 2015, Colton signed a $450,000 contract with the Oakland Raiders, where he supposedly only got a salary of $33,000.

That means he made a total of $130,500 during his time in the NFL. During his time in the league, he was not a part of the main team’s roster and he has never played a regular game.

Despite not making the big bucks during this time, Colton Underwood appears to have fond memories of his time in the NFL, as his Instagram is plastered with pictures from his time on the field.

During his time on The Bachelor, Colton Underwood is often talking about his charity. The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation raises money for people with cystic fibrosis.

This was the focus of tonight’s one-on-one date, as he invited a bunch of kids on his date with Elyse, so they could hang out.

His charity appears to be very successful and Colton reportedly does not take a salary from it.

It sounds like Colton wants to continue to grow his foundation and simply give back after his time on The Bachelor. Since he’s not signed to an NFL contract, it’s possible he will pursue any direction that The Bachelor allows him to go.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
