I watch “Justified,” so I know they grow a lot of pot up in those rural hills. Just saying. These guys are like the Ghost Hunters from New England in their fervent belief that these things exist, except they’re hunting supernatural hell beasts that only OTHER mountain people have seen. Mhhmmm.
From Destination America:
MOUNTAIN MONSTERS follows a team of expert hunters and trappers native to West Virginia called the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) as they defend their mountain home from legendary local beasts like the Hellhound, Yahoo, Fire Dragon, and Hogzilla in an epic battle between man and monster.
This Farmer Has Photographic Evidence of the Cherokee Death Cat’s Existence
In this Friday’s all-new episode, AIMS heads to North Carolina to investigate a series of brutal farm-animal killings. An old Cherokee Indian legend describes a creature born from the Trail of Tears to exact revenge.
Today, this 500-pound feline is known as the Cherokee Death Cat. AIMS has a special interest in this case due to the Cherokee blood of team-member Buck. After meeting with a series of eyewitnesses, the crew races to unravel the myth surrounding the Death Cat by constructing an elaborate trap with a retractable ceiling and setting a trail camera to prove once and for all the existence of this predator hell-bent on revenge.
