Catfish: The TV Show is returning tonight with a double-header, as the premiere episode of the new season will be two hours long. And while the hosts, Nev Shulman and Max Joseph, always appear to be shocked at the extent that people will go to hide their identities and deceive others, it sounds like the bar will be raised.
The story of Nina and Mike on Catfish: The TV Show may truly surprise you. Unlike the traditional stories on Catfish, the story of Nina and Mike is different because the husband and wife are working together.
Nina, who works as a webcam model, started talking to a guy when she and Mike were divorced for six years. The man told her that he would pay for her divorce when she got remarried to Mike, but then he didn’t stay true to his promise. Now, Mike would like to know who this guy is, so he can decide whether this marriage is for him.

When Nev and Max learn about the story, they are surprised. Usually, they are helping someone to find out whether there’s love in the air and possibly a happy story to come out of it all. Here, it sounds like it could ruin a marriage.
It’s also crazy that Mike would stand by his wife and to be there for her as she meets the man she’s been talking to, only to possibly be dumped at the end of it all. It should be said that she’s on the fence about everything, and she’s not sure whether to take a chance on this supposed rich man or stay with her husband and two kids.
