Our Twinsane Wedding aired on TLC last night. The special is about Brittany and Briana Deane, who are identical twins, and their respective weddings to fellow identical twins Joshua and Jeremy Salyers.
Brittany and Briana Deane grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, where their parents still live. The twins work at the same Virginia law firm, but are secretive about where it is or what it’s called because they once had to deal with a stalker.
The pair have always been close and have lived together most of their lives. However, they had to live apart when attending law school, as Brittany went to Wyoming and Briana went to Texas.
The twins also have two brothers, William and Bryson, who were also raised in Wilmington. They are younger than the twins.
The two sisters are reportedly members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As for how they met Joshua and Jeremy Salyers, Brittany and Briana Deane open up about their meeting on the TLC special.
They met one another in Twinsburg at an annual Twins days Festival in Ohio where twins can meet other twins and bond with others in the same situation.
Brittany and Briana Deane explained that Joshua and Jeremy walked towards them because they wanted a photo of them together. The twins would later make plans with the guys to hang out.
Joshua and Jeremy proposed as the girls were filming a commercial for Twin Lakes State Park in Virginia. The proposal was filmed for Inside Edition.
Both couples got married in a joint ceremony at the 2018 Twins Day Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio — where they met exactly one year prior. They were married by twin ministers in a ceremony that was appropriately called Twice Upon A Time.
The twins always knew they wanted to marry twins, but they also realized that it was a long shot. Briana told PEOPLE magazine that it had always been a fairy tale come true because the twin union had always been such a huge dream for them.
“We knew that the chances were incredibly scarce. The stars had to align for our dreams to come true. I get to marry the man of my dreams and at the same time I get to look over next to me and see my twin sister marrying the man of her dreams,” Brittany added.
Our Twinsane Wedding premiered last night, February 11, at 10/9c on TLC.
