Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten shared their first kiss on last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, but the romance isn’t exactly sitting well with viewers. Viewers are reacting on Twitter to the romance and it isn’t all positive.

Some believe that Alan only confessed that he had feelings for Alexis to avoid any awkward conversations with her and the producers.

Gold Derby reported last week that the romance is actually a turn off for some viewers, revealing that 59 percent of voters didn’t like the relationship and didn’t buy it at all.

On Twitter, Alexis Ren defended her feelings, saying that she would never fake her feelings for television and the votes on Dancing With The Stars. She was in the bottom two last week but managed to bounce back. This week, she wasn’t up for elimination.

Last week, Alexis admitted that she had feelings for Alan, but he didn’t reciprocate them. Instead, he left her hanging, making viewers wonder if he was truly interested in her.

In fact, some people believe that this relationship will surely fail as many other Dancing With The Stars relationships have in the past.

When Alexis Ren came onto Dancing With The Stars, she was linked to a man named Sky Bear. When she shared her feelings on the show last week, he revealed on Instagram that he was in a dark place.

Alexis appeared to move on from Sky pretty quickly and wants to give Alan a shot. While some think the showmance is a bad idea, others believe that this romance is very real and are cheering her on.

Alan spoke out yesterday about opening up about his feelings, joking that he didn’t want to leave her wondering how he felt.

“I mean, I didn’t want to leave her hanging. I’m kidding, I’m kidding!” Alan told Entertainment Tonight after the show.

“No, I mean, it was horseback [riding], it was beautiful. It felt right… First of all, I was scared of horses and I was scared of that moment.”

“It’s really hard when [there are] six cameras staring at you, and you’re like, ‘I’m just going to spill my heart right now,” Alexis added. “It’s really weird.”

Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
