Academy of Country Music Awards New Female Artist of the Year, Lauren Alaina, will perform on tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, which is Country Night. She will perform Ladies in the ’90s while Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten perform their Samba.
Alexis and Alan will later team up with DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold, “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and Jenna Johnson, and Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke to perform to Country Girl by Luke Bryan as the team, Team Joe Down.
But who is Lauren Alaina, the up-and-coming country artist?
1. She had big dreams as a child
On her Instagram account, Lauren Alaina has revealed that she had big dreams of becoming a country star at the age of three. She explains that she had big dreams she couldn’t comprehend when she was just a toddler in Rossville, Georgia.
Then, at the age of 23, she played at Madison Square Garden in front of a sold-out crowd. Just amazing.

Lauren Alaina is not a single woman. She’s dating a man named Alex Hopkins and the two have been together for six years.
She recently celebrated their anniversary, revealing she was in shock that six years had gone by. She also explained that they were just getting started on their lives together.
3. She’s going on tour with Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch
Lauren Alaina is part of the upcoming Reasons To Drink Another Tour alongside Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch. Cole Swindell will also perform on tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars.
4. She’s close with her step-dad who is battling cancer
Lauren has revealed that her beloved step-father is battling cancer. On Instagram, she opened up about how she learned about the cancer diagnosis the same week that she won the New Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards. She points out that she had never seen someone fight as much as him.
5. She doesn’t mind putting her name to a good cause
One can imagine that there are plenty of offers on the table now that her fanbase is growing. But Lauren Alaina doesn’t mind putting her name on a great cause.
On Instagram, she revealed that she’s proud of being part of a movement that will benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
