Kim Kardashian, Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) queen, and Rihanna, goddess of music and beauty, have both turned to Instagram to model their lingerie lines.
Although both celebrities emphasize their products are for all sizes and therefore “inclusive,” there’s a significant difference between Kim and self-proclaimed Bad Gal RiRi.
First, let’s explore everything we know about the KUWTK star’s and Rihanna’s lingerie lines — from the names of their products to their availability.
Worth noting: Both Kardashian and Rihanna are boosting the displays of their products on Instagram as a hint for Valentine’s Day gift shoppers.
Kim Kardashian: A late ‘Happy New Year’ on Instagram
Kanye West’s wife and mom of four recently vowed to show less skin in the new year, pointed out People.
However, Kim belatedly wished her fans happy New Year on Instagram by showing off her SKIMS bralette and thong. Both products are part of her SKIMS Solutionwear product line.
The 39-year-old describes her lingerie line as designed to change women’s shapes. In other words: Got sags and bags? Kim wants to ease those concerns with her shaping solutions.
Rihanna offers inclusive lingerie designed to flatter rather than flatten
Then there’s Rihanna, showing just as much (if not more) skin on Instagram as she models her lingerie line. The singer/designer/entrepreneur designed her products to embrace women of all shapes and sizes.
Rather than re-shape bodies, Rihanna’s lingerie line puts the focus on flattering.
Joining Kim in a belated “Happy New Year” to her Instagram fans, Rihanna modeled some of her lingerie and hyped it as the ideal Valentine’s Day gift.

The Savage X Fenty Lingerie by Rihanna line “celebrates fearlessness, confidence and inclusivity,” touts its website. In addition to offering lingerie for all sizes and shapes, the product offerings are designed to have an “accessible price point.”
For example, Rihanna prices her Down the Aisle Bralette at $15. Hop on over to Kim Kardashian West’s SKIMS lingerie line, and you can pick out a T-Shirt Bra for $52.
In contrast to the “confidence” theme of Rihanna’s site, Kim emphasizes that her products are “designed to smooth, enhance, lift and tone.”
Tip: For Valentine’s Day, you might want to think about the message you’re sending before you gift a product designed to change someone’s body.
