It’s been a whirlwind year for Kimbella Vanderhee and her new husband Juelz Santana. The Love & Hip Hop couple has experienced some serious lows with his legal trouble but they’ve also had some incredible highs including their engagement and more recently, Kimbella and Juelz’ wedding.
After more than a decade together, Kimbella and Juelz have officially become Mr. and Mrs. Santana (or James since that’s his real last name.)
What has been described as a “lavish” wedding ceremony took place on Thursday, January 10. All of their friends were there to celebrate the union including the members of Dipset and much of the Love & Hip Hop cast.
Juelz and Kimbella got engaged back in November when he called her up to the stage and dropped to one near during a Dipset show. It was a short engagement with the two tying the knot less than two months later.
Both the engagement and marriage are bittersweet for the latest LHHNY couple to get married. All of their good news comes amid Juelz Santana’s plea deal after he was caught with a loaded gun in the Newark International Airport last spring.
It’s not certain when Juelz is due to turn himself in for the 27 month sentence he will be serving for the weapons and drug charges but it has been said that he will be headed to jail soon.
Kimbella and Juelz have two children together and both have been featured on this season of Love & Hip Hop as they prepare for his stint in prison. Juelz Santana James is 8 years old and Bella Monroe James is 6 years old.
