Jennifer Garner is off the market! According to US Weekly, Garner is dating a man named John Miller and the two have supposedly been dating for six months. Jennifer, who is rather active on social media, hasn’t mentioned her new man online, possibly because she wanted to keep her private life away from her fans and her rather public career.
“They’ve been together for six months,” a source has told the magazine. “It’s getting serious.”
But who is the man, who has captured Jennifer Garner’s heart after her split from Ben Affleck? Miller is the CEO and chairman of Cali Group, a tech company that owns Miso Robotics and a chain of 50 CaliBurger restaurants.
He’s not in the Hollywood world like Garner, but he does have his own career, aspirations, and income. His burger chain is known for using a flippy tool, which flips the burgers on the grill, to limit manual labor.
The Cali Group website reveals that he also serves as the Chairman of the company. He founded the company in 2011, and prior to that, he was the second employee at Arrowhead.
He graduated Order of the Coif from Stanford Law School and is an author of The Handbook of Nanotechnology Business, Policy, and Intellectual Property Law. Miller has also contributed to other publications related to nanomaterials and nanoscale electronics.
Even though the two have only been dating for six months, he has reportedly already met her children. She shares three children with Ben. They have daughters, Violet, 12, and Seraphina, 9, and her son, Samuel, 6. Miller also has children of his own, a 12-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
John Miller is technically still married to concert violinist Caroline Campbell. The two split back in 2014, but have yet to finalize their divorce four years later.
They are reportedly estranged and they are simply waiting for a judge to sign off on the papers. This is something Jennifer Garner may understand, as she filed for legal separation three years ago, but it still took years before they eventually cut ties.
When Affleck and Garner announced they were separating in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, they revealed that they would continue to co-parent their children.
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding,” their statement read.
After they split, Ben was allegedly linked to the couple’s nanny Christine Ouzounian, but he denied that anything was going on. Throughout the years, they continued to co-parent and they were open about their split. Their behavior suggested that they were back together, but they wanted to stay positive for the kids.
Affleck has also gone to rehab several times, heading to treatment for the first time back in March 2017. A month later, Garner filed for divorce. However, as of June 2018, the divorce had yet to be finalized due to Ben’s struggles with alcohol. He headed back to treatment for 40 days and he was recently spotted out of rehab looking happy.
He used Instagram to explain what he was going through.
Ben is currently dating Shauna Sexton. Jennifer and Ben finalized their divorce earlier this month, three years after their legal separation.
