Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham shared the news this morning that they are expecting their first child together — but when is the due date?
The couple revealed in an interview with Us Weekly that they weren’t trying to get pregnant, and when they tested positive they took SIX more tests to make sure it was true.
However, they didn’t talk about how far along they are in their pregnancy and shared no details about the due date.
Lauren Burnham due date: When is she likely to be expecting?
During their announcement, they did reveal some ultrasound photos. Then, Lauren took it a step further on Instagram, letting us know when she and Arie would take the huge leap into parenthood.
While it’s common to wait until after the first trimester to make the big announcement, it looks like Lauren and Arie are letting Bachelor fans in on their big surprise a bit early.
“Our greatest adventure begins June 2019!” Lauren wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo.
Lauren didn’t reveal the actual due date, only letting fans know what month she is set to begin motherhood. That said, even if she is due on June 1, she would be about 11 weeks along now.
It’s possible that Arie and Lauren will announce the sex of the baby once they know. Couples can usually learn this around the 20-week mark. If they do choose to share this news when they find out, we may be able to get a more accurate due date.
Lauren tells US Weekly in the couple’s interview that she had a feeling she may be pregnant.
“I kind of had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So my friend insisted on bringing a pregnancy test over. Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes. He was like, ‘You’re pregnant!’” she explains.
But one test wasn’t enough. They got six more tests from the store, just to make sure. They were all positive.
“We weren’t trying, but we are so excited. It’s going to be a whole new chapter in our lives,” Arie adds.
Lauren has gone through the common discomforts of pregnancy. She explains that she had bad morning sickness throughout October and barely left the house.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham purchased their first home together in April of this year in Phoenix, Arizona. They currently reside there with their two dogs, Bastain and Dallas. They are planning on getting married in January 2019 in Hawaii.
In their interview, Arie and Lauren reveal they are still planning on moving forward with their wedding in January.
