Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico from Season 5 of Married at First Sight are proud parents! After following their pregnancy journey on the premiere season of MAFS: Happily Ever After, the couple shared their happy news with fans.
On Saturday, January 12, Ashley gave birth to a baby girl. Mila Rose was born three weeks early, weighing in at 4 pounds 14 ounces.
“We never knew we could love someone so much! She is perfect in every way. Holding her for the first time was the most amazing surreal moment of my life,” Ashley said in a statement to Us Weekly.
“Watching Anthony take care of her makes me love him even more. He’s already an amazing daddy. We can’t wait to show this sweet little baby girl the world.”
Both Ashley and Anthony are over the moon in love with their baby girl. Much like they did during their pregnancy journey, they have been sharing photos of baby Mila on social media too.
Married at First Sight fans are getting to see plenty of Mila within days of her birth, something that another MAFS couple, Shawniece and Jephte, weren’t so quick to do when they had their daughter back in August.
Clearly, Ashley and Anthony are very excited to become parents for the first time. Don’t be too surprised if they continue sharing photos of their daughter as they celebrate each milestone together and, honestly, we’re hoping that they do!
