Twice (often stylized as TWICE) just recently made their latest comeback with their sixth extended play (EP), a mini-album titled Yes or Yes.

K-pop fans are showing their love and support as the album or its title track of the same name has both charted numerous iTunes records around the world and broke a K-pop YouTube record.

Yes or Yes was officially released on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST. Within just an hour and a half of its release, Twice’s new song received what is known in the Korean music industry as a Realtime All-Kill.

That means they reached number one on all current regional music charts in South Korea. This includes Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, and Soribada. Once Yes or Yes reaches number one on all daily charts as well as both the weekly and realtime chart for iChart, they will achieve a Perfect All-Kill

Yes or Yes makes an international impact!

It is no surprise that Twice would do well domestically in South Korea. By all accounts of sales and numbers, they are presently the most popular girl group in the country. Twice, however, also made an impact internationally primarily on iTunes and YouTube.

Firstly, Yes or Yes debuted at the top of  iTunes album charts in 17 different countries and regions. In Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam, Yes or Yes ranked number one in the iTunes song charts. In Japan, all seven tracks off the latest album were listed in the top 100 charts of the local line music.

Secondly, Yes or Yes’s music video dominated on YouTube as it is now the fastest to reach 10 million views for a K-pop song by a girl group. The 10 million view mark was recorded on November 6, 2018 at 12:02 a.m. KST, just six hours and two minutes after its debut. They just toppled the record previously held by Black Pink for their song DDU-DU DDU-DU with six hours, 15 minutes.

Congratulations to Twice on their latest accomplishment. Despite the fact Yes or Yes is now out, they are not settling down just yet. In the following month, Twice will be busy with post-release promotions. This will definitely include music competition shows.
