Movie spotlight: The first in a series of book to screen adaptations, “The Man in 3B” offers a delectable gift of drama, intrigue, suspense, and romance. Now the highly anticipated screen adaptation of Carl Weber’s thriller, “The Man in 3B,” will have its world premiere at the 23rd Annual Pan African Film & Arts Festival (PAFF) as the closing night film.
The film is based on New York Times’ bestselling author Weber’s novel of the same title, the film is directed by Trey Haley, President of Tri Destined Studios, and produced by ND Brown, Carl Weber, Veronica Nichols and Tracey Moore.
Weber fans and moviegoers can catch the world premiere of the film on February 15, 2015 at 7:40 pm at the Rave Cinema Baldwin Hills 15. For ticket information, please visit The Man in 3B.
The Man in 3B offers viewers the same sexy thrills and surprises as the novel, with the seven deadly sins in full effect. “The Man in 3B” is the first adaption of Weber’s work to hit the silver screen and is sure to be the talk of PAFF.
The story follows Daryl Graham (Lammon Rucker) who has just moved into a Jamaica, Queens apartment building. His neighbors – male and female alike – can’t stop talking about him. He quickly becomes intertwined in each of the tenants’ lives and things seem to be going well, but when a murder happens in the building everyone becomes a prime suspect.
