Napa Valley is a jewel north or San Francisco, where incredible wineries dot the highway in a succession amidst rolling hills of grapevines.
One of Monsters and Critics favorite places is HALL Wines where Kathryn and Craig Hall have dotted incredible art amongst their growing grounds and you can spend the day drinking 90+ point wines as you go from award-winning Cabs to Sauvignon blancs. It’s a true slice of road-trip or vacation destination heaven.
The publicist from HALL contacted us after a bizarre incident took place:
“Yesterday a group of guests stole a carved pumpkin from our Tasting Room and took it on their party bus. The pumpkin was hand carved by our Creative Manager of our new 2012 Jack’s Masterpiece release– so it looked pretty cool! Of course, people would want it! It was a Jack’ O Lantern so our #JacksGotJacked!”
The pumpkin really was stolen or ‘borrowed” by a passing tourist.
HALL has set up a Pumpkin Task Force and asking for local community support if anyone saw anything, to report. HALL – WALT Wines are at 401 St. Helena Hwy. S in St. Helena, CA 94574.
