Imagine what a biker babe would love… now kick it up a few notches and you will have the new line of hip and trendy bags by motorcycle enthusiast and Fortune 500 veteran, Debra Chin.
Chin recently introduced a new bag that is both a backpack and purse and a stylish must-have for the girl who wants to be on trend.
“I design for women who ride on two wheels or just have a free-wheeling lifestyle,” stated Chin.
Noticing an uptick in female bike devotees like herself, Chin realized there were very few accessories for women in this arena. Their bodies, shapes, and sizes are different from male riders and the backpacks available weren’t made to fit the female form or their particular needs. Mostly, motorcycle accessory companies would slap some pink on it and call it, for the ladies. Chin wanted something that represented her; tough, chic, stylish and adult. Thus, MotoChic, stylish gear for women on the move.
Chin’s tour de force is the Lauren Bag, inspired by Lauren Hutton.
For those who are too young to know, Lauren Hutton was a top model before “top model” became a thing. She was a 70s fashion icon and a cool biker chick…. So calling this bag the Lauren is spot-on.
The Lauren is great for tooling around town on your hog then quickly converting it for cocktails with the gang.
The Lauren is as changeable is its namesake, it is both a tough backpack and a modish purse. First off, it is lightweight but still strong enough to withstand grueling bike rides or crowded city streets. There is room enough for all the things a lady can’t live without… wallet, make-up case, cell phone, lap top, etc… and a change of clothes (just in case, wink wink).
Then, when you want to hop back on your bike, just take out the backpack apparatus from the clever hideaway pockets that store the backpack harness, straps, belt and rainfly, and strap on for the backpack mode and take off.
It fits comfortably and looks very chic… Motochic!
The Lauren comes in three colors, black, black/red and black/white plus there are large reflective panels for your nighttime rides or dark streets. It is also water and wind resistant for those who like to go fast! https://www.motochicgear.com/
