Late last year, it was reported Lee Dong-Wook and Yoo In-Na would be reuniting as the lead characters in an upcoming K-drama on the Total Variety Network (tvN).
Now tvN is releasing pre-debut teasers for the K-drama titled Touch Your Heart. Much to the delight of Goblin fans, one of those teasers is a trailer video which hits them in the “feels.”
The teaser trailer video which is only a meager 15 seconds long doesn’t show much. What it does show are simple yet lovely interactions between the two leads. These include simple text messaging, a light touch of hands over a bucket of popcorn in a movie theater, and meeting eyes on a bridge.
The latter interaction is where it hit Goblin fans the most in
What is Touch Your Heart about?
The upcoming tvN K-drama is a romance starring Lee Dong-Wook and Yoo In-Na.
The former plays Kwon Jung-Rok, a workaholic elite lawyer who always wins his cases and cares deeply about his firm’s reputation.
The latter plays Oh Jin-Shim, a popular actress known by her stage name, Oh Yoon-Seo, who loses her fame after getting embroiled in a scandal with a third-generation chaebol.
In order to make a comeback starring a famous writer’s project, she disguises herself as
The plot’s concept, in general, has been used before. However, tvN is most-likely banking on pairing two K-drama actors who’ve worked together before, have great chemistry, and the fans loved.
It is the same tactic the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) used when they cast the leads of Cunning Single Lady, Lee Min-Jung and Joo Sang-Wook, as the leads in Fates and Furies.
When will Touch Your Heart air?
Touch Your Heart will air on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 9:30 p.m. KST on tvN taking over the time slot currently occupied by popular K-drama Encounter. Subsequent episodes will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays. There is no word on how many episodes long it will be just as yet.
For international viewers specifically those living in the Americas, there is no word which streaming service will air Touch Your Heart.
Rakuten Viki usually airs the more anticipated tvN K-dramas (like Encounter) so it will most-likely stream on their service. Yet if the anticipation is high, other streaming sites might outbid Rakuten Viki just like Netflix did with Memories of Alhambra.
