Fortnite is already hugely popular with both children and adults, and now it’s set to get even more so thanks to a new creative mode.
The new mode, part of Season 7, is said to be Minecraft meets Fortnite, and has piqued a lot of interest among gamers from both fan bases.
Players will be able to build their own things while also being given the option to battle their friends with new scenery in place.
When will creative mode be available for Fortnite?
Today is the day Fortnite fans! The creative mode is now available…for some. Unfortunately, it is only on a limited release right now. If players have the battle pass, they can play as soon as today.
For those who have not purchased the Fortnite battle pass, the creative mode will be available to everyone on December 13.
With that date only a week away for those who don’t pay to play, the anticipation is high. This has been a feature many have asked for, and now it’s a reality.
Creative mode details
At this time, the details surrounding creative mode aren’t clear. Epic has given some players early access and there are YouTube videos displaying the features, but as a whole, the information is scarce. Epic has confirmed that this first vision of creative mode isn’t all that will be offered.
Like seasons past, there will be updates to come for Fortnite creative mode. Players will be able to get the hang of how things work and the game will work to improve the experience over the next several weeks and months.
Epic said: “Fortnite creative is new and exciting, but not final. We’ll be adding many new features and improvements over the next few updates. Like battle royale and save the world, we’re committed to making this bigger and better over time.”
