Despite the rise of games for mobiles, free online games are still massively popular with developers churning out a string of awesome offerings over the past month.
If you’re stuck at work and trying to kill time there’s plenty of worse options than to have a sneak peak at some of the new games that have recently arrived online.
Monsters & Critics has its own games section and we also run a couple of other games sites, so you should be able to find all of these offerings on at least one of our platforms.
The result of a Kickstarter crowdfuning campaign, Learn to Fly 3 is a traditional see-how-far-you-can-fly game with a twist. While the original and second games saw you fly horizontally, in this one you have to launch your beloved penguin up…to space!
A truly great sequel. The original Moto X3M took the generic online motocross game and added a whole new level of awesomeness. Then…they did it again with the sequel.
We are massive fans of the Cube Escape games here at M&C. Each and every one of them is a work of art and the Birthday one is no different. Enchanting and challenging at the same time.
Who doesn’t like a management game. The Tiny Empire sees you start out with a tiny castle and try to build an empire of substantial proportions by keeping your people happy.
No online game list would be complete in 2016 without a clicker game. Over the past 12 months they’ve soared in popularity and Blackmith Lab has all the elements for plenty of clickable fun as you turn your blacksmith’s into a business.
Finally available online (you could already get it as an app), Hyper Maze Arcade is really tricky – and addictive because of that. Steer the glowing light through a complex maze at high speed and test your reactions.
Not as much of a ‘game’ as the other games on this list, more of an interactive comic. But still a fun one to play and the results of the story depend on how you react to each situation.
A sideways-scrolling racing game set in outer space and filled with lots of weird and wonderful aliens. Nice and competitive and good upgrades.
You can’t have a selection of games without something gory in it. And Smilodon Rampage is that game. A bizarre but funny game that sees you control a saber-toothed tiger as it goes on the rampage.
A fun puzzle game which pretty much made it on to this list because it’s got pigs in it. In it you have to help the pig get to the exit while enjoying delicious treats.
All these games are fun and there should be something for everyone on this list. If you have any other good selections for other readers then make sure to share them in the comments section below.
