Flood tunnels and box darains
Really the writers should stop saying these things. Anyone familiar with geology and its interactions with ground water, or in this case, the ocean know that the first rule of water is that it seeks its own level. ie; if the money pit area is say 75 ft above the average ocean level and you dig down at the money pit site 75 ft youre going to find water. The ocean level varies due to tides of course so the water level in the hole you dug could also vary. Water finds its way through the tiniest of particles. Oak Island is NOT a boat and it wont keep sea water from seeking its own level under ground
Oak Island appears to have a layer of limestone rock under it. Limestone dissolves over time when exposed to water and has obviously created voids and caverns deep under ground. It could be that sea water comes in deep under ground via the voids in the limestone but to try and say that early work done below ground created 'booby traps" or flood tunnels is just really a myth that someone started long ago when those kids began digging to the 90ft stone.
Ask any excavator who has worked in the business a long time about "static water levels"
Stop saying booby trap flood tunnels. It makes you look foolish
