I really, really hope so. It must be very inconvenient for the guys having filming crews tagging along everywhere, being so very recognizable in public because of the show, and being pestered right and left by us adoring fans. But viewers, even the more critical ones, really love the adventure and are supportive of the conscientious efforts the guys have put into not destroying the island or historical sites with their excavations. And since they are essentially re-writing history this season alone, I think the government of Canada & Nova Scotia should give them more research funding.
Yes there will be a season six.
i found a treasure in the show already. The treasure I found was that if you believe in something never give up.
as long as there is hope dig deeper in yourself and your team and move forward.
People sharing their thoughts is important in any decision.
I know deep in my heart that they will find treasure in their efforts even if it is the same treasure that I have found.
thanks for the show and best of luck to all
I hope so, this has been a great treasure hunting adventure. I have been involved in underground mining for over 40 years. We have the ability to de-water deep shafts and grout as the shaft deepens. 150 feet of depth is nothing compared to some of the deep mines in America and South Africa, that make a lot of water and has to be pumped to the surface. It seems to me all the money they have spent on mutable shafts and drill holes could have been accomplished with one good furnished shaft putting eyes and feet on every foot developed. The shafts sank for the money pit in the past didn't have the dewatering and ground control technology we have today. If these targets have moved and shifted pin point contact with them will be very lucky using the equipment they have been using and the risk of damaging artifacts is high. I have watched all five seasons and hope for another if they don't wrap things up this year. The passion and drive is addictive just as much as gold fever is. Good luck !!
