L’Oreal have just come out with a great new commercial for their French Girl Hair range — with Penny Dreadful’s Eva Green taking center stage.
The spot talks through the ‘cliches’ about French women — from them being ‘so chic’ to being ultra-romantic — as Eva debunks them one by one.
In one cliche — that French girls eat hardly anything — Eva is seen in the footage stuffing her face with cake.
The minute-long clip ends with her saying: “The French touch. You either have it, or you don’t.
Eva, 35, who was born in Paris, is currently starring in the third series of Penny Dreadful and is the face of the L’Oreal Professionnel French Girl Hair range.
The five cliches she debunks about French girls are: that they’re chic, they eat like a bird, they are intellectuals, they’re romantic, and that they don’t need hairdressers.
