Cara Maria Sorbello met Calafiore while they were on MTV’s The Challenge together and from there, things became more complicated than anyone had anticipated.
The relationship with Danielle Maltby
Danielle Maltby may be a familiar name for Bachelor fans. She was one of the 21 bachelorettes who competed for Nick Viall’s affection on the show, being sent home just before the final few weeks. While things didn’t work out for Maltby with Bachelor Nation, she was able to find love with another reality star.
Last January, Paul Calafiore and Danielle Maltby went Instagram official and things appeared to be going well for a while.
When he left to film MTV’s The Challenge, that is when things went south for the couple. There were rumblings that Paul had stepped out on Danielle, causing quite a stir at the beginning of June 2018.
Cara Maria Sorbello complicates things
While filming MTV’s the Challenge, Paul Calafiore met Cara Maria Sorbello. Both have claimed that they never intended to become involved, but it happened.
When news broke that Calafiore was with Sorbello now and Danielle Maltby was left in the dust, there were plenty of opinions being voiced. It was heavily discussed for a few weeks and then, the pair seemingly disappeared into the rest of the world.
December changed everything for Paul Calafiore, who lost the woman he believes he is supposed to be with. Text messages were released and Danielle Maltby and Cara Maria Sorbello both teamed up to dog the reality star. Of course, he wasn’t helping his case.
Paul Calafiore reveals he wants Cara Marie back
In an interview with Domenick Nati from the Domenick Nati Show, Paul Calafiore opened up about the last year and the relationships with Danielle Maltby and Cara Maria Sorbello.
Things are really messy right now, but he is adamant that he wants to build a future with the woman he loves. That woman happens to be Cara Marie.
When asked about why he was with Demi Burnett recently, Paul Calafiore denied that there was anything more than friendship between them. In fact, he explained that even if she wanted to pursue something with him, there was no interest.
At this point, Paul Calafiore confirmed that he is no longer in a relationship with Cara Maria Sorbello. He is working to get her back and has confidence that will happen.
The two had plans to move in together and open some gyms, all of which have been benched with the scandal surrounding their relationship.
Things may be complicated for Paul Calafiore now but he is sure about what he wants. Whether Cara Marie Sorbello will reconcile with him remains to be seen but his intentions to win her back have been made known.
