Kenya Moore is celebrating her 48th birthday by enjoying a vacation with her family. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a photo of herself carrying her daughter on a beach and she looks fantastic.
Moore, who gave birth to her daughter just 11 weeks ago, looks great after going through a lengthy C-section. Kenya spoke out about the birth, where she was cut both horizontally and vertically, something that sounded scary and extreme.
Kenya also revealed how she had almost died during the dramatic birth. Given her story, fans must have zoomed in on her photo, because some of the comments on her Instagram post question where her scars are. Some called her out, asking if she was cut vertically, wouldn’t be it visible?
One fan wrote: “I thought I was trolling cause I could have sworn she said said they started regular (bikini cut) then had to cut her vertically and that it took like an hour to an hour and a half. She looks good….don’t get me wrong, but like u said….something’s not right.”
Horizontal scars are often cut rather low, so panties and bikini bottoms can hide the scars. A vertical cut could still have been
It’s also possible that Kenya’s body is simply good at bouncing back after surgery — meaning the scars are hardly visible. Either way, there’s no denying that she looks fabulous after giving birth in early November.
As fans recall, Kenya experienced immense swelling right before her due date, as she gained 17 pounds in a single week. She was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and was admitted to the hospital.
She would then give birth via a three-hour C-section where she was cut both horizontally and vertically, as the doctors couldn’t remove little baby Brooklyn from Kenya’s womb.
As scary as the incident sounds, it appears that Kenya Moore has bounced back and is looking fabulous! What a great way to celebrate your 48th birthday.
