Bill Maher roasts Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, as the discussion about the shocking Oscars altercation continues.

The Real Time With Bill Maher host called the I Am Legend actor a “d**k” for assaulting Chris Rock on the Oscar stage.

In the monologue for the show, Maher downplayed Jada’s medical condition, stating that it’s “alopecia, it’s not leukemia,” before arguing that being compared to Demi Moore’s GI Jane is hardly an insult.

He also taunted Will Smith, recalling his wife’s relationship with August Alsina, and said his warning to Chris Rock to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth backfired due to the commentary on the incident and Jada’s hair.

Bill Maher tells Jada Pinkett Smith to ‘put on a f**king wig’

According to the New York Post, Maher, 66, advised Jada to be thankful that her medical condition is not life-threatening.

“If you are so lucky in life as to have that be your medical problem, just say ‘thank God,’”

“It’s not life-threatening. It’s part of — for most people, 80 percent of men, 50 percent of women — it’s part of aging,” he said, continuing:

“Aging is, trust me, I know. It’s the degradation of the flesh. It happens to all of us,” he said.

Maher then told Jada Pinkett Smith to wear a wig if she is sensitive to commentary about her hair.

“And you know, just put on a f**king wig like everybody else at the Oscars if it bothers you so much.”

The host and his political guests then discussed how the altercation in which Will Smith slapped Chris Rock and his reception while receiving the Oscar later in the ceremony.

Will Smith resigns from Academy ahead of board meeting

Just days after the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors stated their intention to discuss actions against Will Smith, the actor resigned from the Academy.

Smith wrote a lengthy statement published by Deadline.

The statement reveals that he has “directly responded” to the Academy’s disciplinary hearing notice, and he will accept any consequences.

He described his assault on the presenter Chris Rock as “shocking, painful, and inexcusable.”

He listed the individuals his actions affected, which “includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home.”

The actor admits that he “deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work.”

The King Richard actor wrote that he was “heartbroken” before officially stepping away from the Academy, writing, “So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate. Change takes time and I am committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason.”

?!?!? Has the world gone mad?! Jada Pinkett Smith did not slap Chris Rock! ALL night long Will and she laughed while crying inside as dumb “joke” after dumb “joke” at their and their marriage’s expense was spewed from the mouths of the single and the stupid , starting on the red carpet with that Laverne Cox person before the Oscars even officially started, and continuing from Regina Hall and Chris Rock from the stage. ALL Jada PInkett Smith did was be unable to continue laughing at the evil. No other celebrity was the butt of multiple swipes like that. These are real human beings who are really in love and really in a committed relationship. Will just snapped. Chris was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. It is just bizarrely misogynistic for idiots to try to “blame” Jada for merely not laughing. Will had never hit anyone on stage before. Why would she have known he would see her pain, walk up to Chris and knock his sellout self into next week? Dumb Bill Maher and all the other idiots insanely “blaming” Jada for merely not laughing need to shut their crazy mouths.

Utterly ridiculous sentiment. Jada Pinkett Smith had worn wigs and turbans and hats and after a while people just get tired of that. She bravely said she would try to embrace baldness, learn to love it and not be inconvenienced with hiding it anymore. But that is easier said than done. She may have even laughed about it before. After crying in Will’s arms about it. But laughter doesn’t always come on command. All evening long Will & Jada had been the butt of jokes about their Decades long marriage they blessedly saved after their painful Separation during which they both strayed. People started mocking and joking even on the red carpet – with that Lavern Cox person. It continued from the stage with Regina Hall chiming in. Chris was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. Jada just couldn’t keep up the facade any longer. Nor should she have been “blamed” merely for not doing so. Alopecia is not just hair loss, it is an Auto-Immune Disease, a scary diagnosis whether or not it’s AS scary as one of leukemia. And No one else received the Multiple swipes on Oscar evening like Will and Jada did. What was that about? Chris Rock even went off-script to ding Jada. He’d cowardly done it before when she started the OscarSoWhite protest.in 2016. Chris Rock is a sellout who was petty about plum roles he’d admittedly lost to Will Smith. He struck back, consciously or subconsciously by swiping at Will’s wife because he’s too cowardly to do that to a man. Disgusting.

Oh, and Jada and many other people do wear wigs, hats, turbans, scarves, etc. until they tire of them. Even that Congresswoman with the beautiful bald head finally gave up and wears her head conveniently bald not uncomfortably hidden. What is ironic about all this is that many doctors think Alopecia is brought on by stress. Quite possibly the same kind of stress that came from a hounding, lying press (among others) dishonestly haranguing and writing “about” the Smith’s marriage. And that is coming from stress-inducing idiots like Bill Maher now.

Totally agree. My late husband lived only 4-1/2 months after being diagnosed with cancer. He loved to laugh and kept his sense of humor as long as he could. He would have welcomed a diagnosis of alopecia instead.

I’m sorry to hear about your husband. I’m glad you have comforting memories of his humor. But if you had seen Jada and Will all evening – laughing to keep from crying over the “jokes” about their Decades-long marriage they’d saved after a painful Separation they thought was really the end – the only time broken-hearted, vulnerable Jada “strayed” – with that big-mouthed singer – and Will, sadly “dallied” with someone else, too, you’d realize that Chris was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. Will and Jada were the only celebs to get multiple swipes on this most recent Oscar evening, starting on the Red Carpet with that single Laverne Cox person! Single Regina Hall “joked” about their marriage later, from the stage, too. And if Oscar script writers were involved in that, they share some of the “blame,” not Jada who merely could not bring herself to laugh about yet another joke at their (her) expense that Same night from Single Chris Rock. SMH It was disgusting. Chris Rock had actually ranted at Jada from the Oscars stage in the past (probably why he pronounced the bald joke a “nice” one). Chris Rock is a sellout who was also petty toward more bankable Will Smith getting plum roles he’d (Chris Rock) had gone out for, too. And lost to Will. Chris’ jealousy found what he thought was a “weaker” target in Jada – to get under Will’s skin. It worked. But not the way Chris planned this time. Chris even went Off Script to get at Jada last Sunday. There was no “joke” written about Jada for him to deliver! Chris Rock was a bully, too, at that moment. Will is a MAN – not a robot. Will & Jada are real people. Really in love. And really in a committed relationship. The violence was wrong. But Chris, and quite frankly, all the rest of them contributed to the justifiably building hurt and resentment in Will and Jada. They were the only people getting Multiple swipes that evening from all quarters. These are human beings. Hosts, presenters, and interviewers should have recognized that.

I agree with Bill Maher. Jada runs around bald to get pity. Half of old woman celebrities (Jada is old) wear wigs. Jada doesn’t look good bald. She would look okay, for her age, in a wig. Buy a wig and shut up, Jada.
