This is a delightful classic children’s story with some incredibly enchanting illustrations by master illustrator Edward Ardizzone, who has inspired generations of artists.

It is the story of a little steamroller who discovers smugglers at London Airport and is determined not to let them get away. A simple story which grabs attention and keeps children amused.
This was one of Graham Greene’s first ever children’s books and it is easy to see why it has become a classic. 5 stars Wonderful.
