There’s a drink for this one…

Okay, the best series thus far of 2014 is coming to a close Thursday and it’s time for a stiff drink and a little come to Odin meeting about what’s coming down the fjord. Oh King Horik, why do I feel your days are numbered?

The Season 2 Finale photos and videos are here from our Viking sisters at History.

The time has come: prepare to plunder and raid one last time for the finale “The Lord’s Prayer” – May 1st at 10 p.m. (SEASON FINALE)

Ragnar and King Horik return to Kattegat and the final showdown between two Viking leaders is at hand. Ragnar has placed his trust in those who have stood by him and now the time has come for new alliances to be made.

Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) and Porunn (Gaia Weiss)

Siggy and Floki are the two wildcards. I believe they will see through Horik’s obvious manipulations and machinations and betray him to support Ragnar, but they are both SO bitter, so so bitter.

Siggy hates her life after being demoted from Earl’s wife and Floki is the childhood friend of a rock star (Ragnar) who is pushed off to the side and pretty much frosted about the inability to exist on Ragnar’s lofty level.

Okay. This episode is deserving of a unique cocktail, and if you read our site you know we are all about making original recipes for holidays and certain TV series to celebrate.

One of our happiest finds of late is Portland Oregon’s House Spirits Distillery creation Krogstad Festlig Aquavit, and we reviewed it back last Christmas. The article is loaded with badass Norwegian recipes from my family that are perfect to serve for a spread to watch this series.
