Beautiful actress-singer Vanessa Williams can list college graduate to her résumé.
The 45-year-old “Ugly Betty” star received her bachelor of fine arts degree from Syracuse University Saturday.
“These days are irreplaceable and are the beginning of the rest of your life,” Williams said in a speech to graduates. “Treasure the moment.”
The New York Daily News reports that Williams attended Syracuse as a theater major from 1981 to 1983, but she left to become the first black Miss America in 1983.
Williams appreared in the 1996 film “Eraser” with now Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
