University of Ireland Takes a Sheen to Hollywood Star

The National University of Ireland has said it will be glad to accept actor Martin Sheen as a student after the star revealed he hoped to study in Ireland.

It seems Sheen said that once his run on the popular series “The West Wing” is over he would like to study in the west coast of Ireland.

The Daily Mail quotes Sheen as saying: “I’ll be 65 this summer and have received a number of degrees, but no proper education since I started acting,”

“My plan is to read English literature, philosophy and theology in Galway, in Ireland, where my late mother came from and where I am also a citizen.”

The actor has already taken several breaks in the country and obviously feels he has close bonds with it.
