Actor Daniel Craig has been offered the starring role in the next James Bond flick. There are also reports that director Roger Michell is in negotiations to direct the 22nd installment of the 007 franchise.
According to Hollywood.com the “The 38-year-old actor has been given another license to thrill before his first outing as the super spy in ‘Casino Royale’ hits cinemas later this year.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “U.K. helmer Roger Michell is in negotiations to direct the follow-up to Casino Royale, which has a working title of Bond 22.”
According to IMDB.com, Craig and Michell worked together in Enduring Love. Michell’s future films include Venus and Fishing for Moonlight, starring Keanu Reeves.
The hunky Brit actor Craig starred in Layer Cake and recently was part of the ensemble Israeli team of assassins in Munich. He will be on screens soon starring as Bond in Casino Royale to be released this Fall
