Tiger by the Tail: Avoidance, denials and alleged wrath of Woods’ wife scorned

The Tiger Woods story has been building in a slow boil, beginning with the National Enquirer’s expose of another woman allegedly involved in the mystery early morning domestic disturbance between the billionaire golfer and his ex nanny/model wife and mother of his two children, Elin Nordegren.

Once again, the Enquirer was on the story well before anyone else, as the story morphed from Woods being rescued by Elin with his golf clubs breaking out windows to save him, to apparently an alleged classic “wife on the warpath” twist, with an allegedly enraged Elin chasing her Tiger out of the home in the wee hours of the morning with the golf club as an alleged weapon.

The other woman in question, Rachel Uchitel, is not new to the tabloids, being previously linked to David Boreanaz, the star of “Bones.” Their alleged affair initially was reported on by Star magazine.

Florida police are reportedly not getting anywhere with Tiger Woods for official statements or interviews. People magazine reports the law enforcement officials were turned away from Tiger Woods’s home more than once.

Woods had backed out of his driveway and hit a fire hydrant located on a neighbor’s property. Woods then hit a tree.  An unknown neighbor then called 911 to report the incident.  Woods was taken to a hospital because of lacerations to his face and then released.  Later it was reported by TMZ.com that the cuts to Tiger’s face came from his wife, Elin.

The Associated Press reports that Woods’s damaged Escalade was then towed to a private yard with damage to the front end and both back-seat windows broken.

New York night club hostess Rachel Uchitel is at the center of the mess, and denies her relationship with Woods.  TMZ.com now reports she has enlisted famed attorney and media savvy lawyer Gloria Allred.

The Enquirer has doubled back on Uchitel’s denials, claiming they have real evidence and eyewitnesses that support the rumors of Uchitel meeting with Woods in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.

The Enquirer claims their scoop “was verified with polygraphs, multiple sources and an on-the-record exclusive interview with one of Rachel’s friends.”

Enquirer sources, who passed polygraph tests, rat out Uchitel who shared that Tiger sent “sexting” messages to her, and was seeing the “party girl” since June.

Specifically it the statement from Uchitel’s friend Ashley Samson, the blonde pictured on the left above from the Enquirer scoop, who accompanied Uchitel on a trip to Spain which raised the most interest: “Rachel told me, ‘I’m having an affair with Tiger Woods. We’re in love!'”

Rachel, according to the Enquirer, denies being friendly with Samson, and is distancing herself from Woods in interviews with other media outlets.

Samson shared that Uchitel reveled in the attention from the billionaire golfer: “Rachel said she first met Tiger in May at a New York club where she was working, and gave him her number. In June she told me, ‘Tiger Woods is blowing up my cell phone with messages!’

The Enquirer also dispatched reporters to Melbourne Australia to corroborate sources who witnessed Rachel and Tiger together during the Australian Masters.
